Need the correct Nvidia graphics driver as it is currently running on generic microsoft driver. I attempted the fix presented in a related thread "Need drivers for DV9000 running Win 10 Home 64 bit" from 2018. However that was for DV9000 and my machine is DV9700. When I installed the driver provided in the thread mentioned above, the display became unstable/unusable. I've rolled the driver back to generic. Could you provide a stable NVIDIA driver for Windows 10 Pro running on DV9700? Thank you in advance for your kind support.

2) with ndiswrapper.3) Does work with USB Bluetooth adapter4) remote controle works partially as do the buttons. Touchpad works fully.X won't start on prop nVidia drivers due to nVidia kernel issues (?). Manually console install of nVidia bin file works.
(see Bug 357450 for more information)I haven't tried to install wireless drivers with ndisswrapper because native drivers exist and are supposed to work. See Bug 358337 for more information.I added reports for suspending and hotplug problems, see Bug 357452 and Bug 358336.
2) Laptop uses Atheros chipset. Install latest MadWiFi drivers from the MadWiFi repo and wireless works like a charm. Currently managing it via KNetworkManager.3) HP QuickPlay keys sort of work out of the box. Volume controls PCM in KMix, but you want to change it to the Front. Install hotkeys and you'll be able to configure the rest of the QuickPlay keys to do whatever you want.
Need to use drivers from NVidia's website otherwise system to defaults toVESA driver. Once the driver is installed 3D is enabled, you can use anexternal monitor, and make other adjustments with NVidia's tool. 2) Laptop uses Atheros chipset but Madwifi doesn't support it.Works fine with NDISwrapper. Followed instructions from{ -gui.php] everything wentsmoothly. 3) System locks up when trying to hibernate won't suspend system not recognizedby pmutils so will have to wait 4) Builtin Webcam 4) Media Keys 4) Remote
2) The Broadcom card wasn't detected for wireless, so I assume that its Bluetooth functions don't work either, but I haven't tried.3) suspend to disk 3) suspend to RAM not tested 4) Touchpad works, but for some reason neither YAST nor KDE is able to disable it even when you tell them to (I hate touchpads). Fortunately I was able to tape some cardboard over it to effectively disable it. Of course, if you like touchpads, then there's no problem. Important: If you're doing the 64-bit installtion you must add the boot option "noapic" or the video won't work (use F3 at the install prompt). 32-bit doesn't seem to need the extra boot option. Other than that, the install went perfectly. If you want the wireless to work, I'd recommend the Linksys WPC55AG wireless card since that worked for me, but if want a different card, make sure that you check compatability before you buy one ( -wless.passys.nl/ is a good site), particularly if you're running in 64-bit mode. You're pretty much going to want a card that works with the kernel since it's difficult to get 64-bit Windows drivers for ndiswrapper to use.
Had to download and install manually the latest ALSA drivers to get it to switch, but still a little odd, have to mute/unmute to make it switch (doesn't detectautomatically inserting/removing headphone jack properly).
This laptop (as many other HP laptops in this page) suffers from "bad state" problem. Laptop goes into "bad state" whenever it is shutdown or rebooted from SUSE. Possible indicators of the problem are: CPU not reaching maximum frequency (speedstepping does not work), battery indicator is not updated when running under battery power, long delay (20s) when booting. This problem survives reboot. One workarround is to boot to Windows or to remove power and battery, and wait for up to 20 seconds. The solution is to use kernel from here or latest online-update-kernel.see bug-179702.This bug is fixed in the latest kernel, and might get into openSUSE 10.3. It is also important to use the latest BIOS version from HP.to get wlan, fglrx or any other kmp-drivers to work again after kernel-update, just get source-rpm of required kmp-package and rebuild rpm or reinstall driver (in case of fglrx).
The AMD 3020e (Codename Dali) is a mobile APU that integrates two Zen cores (without SMT, therefore 2 threads) clocked at 1.2 to 2.6 GHz. The TDP is specified at 6 Watt and therefore the chip can be passively cooled. The integrated Radeon graphics card offers 3 CUs at up to 1,000 MHz (Radeon RX Vega 3). The dual channel memory controller supports DDR4-2400.
